Why?

From a young age, we never had to worry about our education. Many places in America provides kids free education up into high school, so the thing we never had to worry about here is finding a new level of education. In many impoverished places, like small villages in Tamnougalt, Morocco, kids struggle to get a complete education. They are constantly held back from many opportunities because they lack the many resources to reach their full potential. They stumble to putting kids in schools, specifically girls, due to many reasons like distance, money, and lack of schools. Our father was one of those kids who suffered being born into poverty and lacked many resources. He told us many stories, such as the long distances he had to travel in unsafe conditions just for education, and the unfairness his sisters and female community around him experienced in his village due to cultural restrictions that prevented them from travelling to school. In result, this summer our father gave us the opportunity to visit his village. Such circumstances and lifestyles of kids we saw this summer caused a spark in our minds. The knowledge and stories we gained from those kids in Tamnougalt made us want to do more. We created a school in our father's hometown to help kids in the area. As a team, we want to continue supporting the school and the kids by providing  them the necessary resources.

Donate

All donations are used for enhancing the presentation of the school. From making the indoor class more suitable and safe for the kids to learn. To building a bathroom in the school that is safe and clean for girls to use alone, rather than  going out doors in unsanityary conditions. . Much of the money is also put towards a play area for the kids during breaks and a lot of their supplies.  Our goal is to help them get the education they deserve.
